The dry season runs roughly November through April and offers the clearest highland skies and calmest mornings on Lago Atitlán. The green season, May to October, brings afternoon rains, lush landscapes, atmospheric mist over Tikal, and noticeably fewer travelers. Tikal rewards a visit year-round; your concierge will read the calendar to your interests rather than the other way around.

A considered first journey across Antigua, Lago Atitlán and Tikal is well served by eight to ten days. Five to six days suits a single region in depth. We design to the pace you prefer rather than to a fixed number of stops — and we would always rather you saw less, slowly, than more in a blur.
